WILLIAM BREEDLOVE MARTIN was born in Macon, Georgia, and graduated from Armstrong State College and Duke University. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a retired English professor, he and his wife live in Savannah. They have two daughters and five grandchildren. He has published eight novels, among them,  In Another Time: A Southern Family During the Great War and After The Run: The Decline and Fall of a Heisman Trophy Winner. His most recent novel, A Lovely and Fearful Thing, was published in March 2021 and is available on Amazon.
